A Full-Service Dental and Periodontics Office Dedicated to Your Health
Creating Beautiful Smiles That Make a Lasting Impression
What Sets Our Dental Office Apart?
Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder affects 10 million Americans. In many cases, it is a result of excessive strain on the jaw joints caused by an imbalanced bite. If you are experiencing symptoms such as jaw pain, headaches, or nighttime teeth grinding, Dr. Herb Blumenthal can examine your bite to determine if an imbalance between your upper and lower teeth could be causing or exacerbating TMJ disorder.
We can perform a number of surgical treatments including bone grafting, gum lifts, and dental implant placement. While many practices must refer patients to another office for these specialized treatments, we can provide complex procedures as well as routine care under one roof.
Treatment Using Advanced Technology
State-of-the-art 3D CT scanning provides detailed three-dimensional images of your teeth, gums, and underlying tissues. This data allows our doctors to plan your treatment with the utmost precision. We also use this technology to create surgical guides for use in dental implant placement. Meanwhile, we employ our own lab technician, which allows us to streamline this advanced treatment.

Providing Patients with Incredible Results Dental Implants Can Transform Your Smile
The Importance of Periodontics
Periodontics is the study and treatment of issues affecting the gums and jawbone. To ensure our patients receive the best care, we have a periodontist as part of our team. The importance of managing gum disease cannot be overstated. That's because periodontal issues not only compromise your smile, but also lead to serious health issues. For example, periodontal disease has been linked to heart disease, diabetes, and stroke.
If you have any level of periodontal disease, our resident periodontist, Dr. Paul Bland, can help. Avoid the health issues associated with periodontal disease with effective treatment at our dental office serving the greater Memphis area.
Dental implants are titanium or zirconia devices that are designed to replace lost tooth roots. Dental implant-supported crowns, dentures, or bridges can replace any number of missing teeth. This solution makes your restorations function just like natural teeth by keeping them firmly in place at all times. For patients missing an entire arch of teeth, our Cordova, TN, dental office can provide All-on-4®, a system that can support a full denture with just four implants. If needed, periodontist Paul Bland can treat periodontal disease and other issues to restore your candidacy for implants.
Even if you maintain optimal oral hygiene, cosmetic concerns such as chipped or cracked teeth, intrinsic stains, and slightly crooked teeth can leave your smile looking unhealthy. Veneers can conceal minor imperfections that compromise your appearance. These ultra-thin porcelain shells are custom-crafted to look natural next to surrounding teeth. Made of advanced dental ceramics, veneers are incredibly strong and can last a decade or longer with proper care.
Following treatment for decay or trauma, a crown is placed over a tooth to protect it from further damage and avoid the need for extraction. Made out of the same advanced ceramics used to craft veneers, a dental crown provided by our Cordova, TN, practice can be color-matched to blend with your surrounding teeth. Like veneers, a crown can last a decade or more with the proper care.
Missing one or more consecutive teeth can make speaking and eating a struggle and cause you to hide your smile. Our dentists serving Greater Memphis can restore your ability to chew and speak properly with a custom dental bridge. By filling the gap in your smile, you not only improve your oral health, but also prevent surrounding teeth from shifting. We can also restore your smile with either a traditional or dental implant-supported bridge for unparalleled stability.
