Creating Beautiful Smiles That Make a Lasting Impression
What Sets Our Dentists Apart?
Dental Implants and Surgical Treatment
We can perform a number of surgical treatments including bone grafting, gum lifts, and placement of dental implants to help improve your oral health. While many practices must refer patients to another office for these specialized treatments, we can provide complex procedures as well as routine care from the convenience of our own office in Cordova.
Certified Conscious Sedation Provider
We know that for some patients, a trip to the dentist can be stressful, and that this anxiety can sometimes keep them from receiving the dental care they need and want. Southern Dental Implant Center is a certified conscious sedation provider and offers Intravenous (IV) and oral conscious sedation dentistry. During both of these types of conscious sedation, you will remain alert and able to respond to the requests of the dentist and team, but you will be in a state of deep relaxation.
Advanced Technology
We use state-of-the-art CT scanning technology to capture detailed, three-dimensional images of your teeth, gums, and underlying tissues. This data allows our dentists to plan your treatment with the utmost precision. We also utilize this technology to create surgical guides for use in implant placement. Additionally, we employ our own lab technician, which allows us to streamline the process of restoring your smile.
TMJ Treatment
Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder affects 10 million Americans. In many cases, it is a result of excessive strain on the jaw joints caused by an imbalanced bite. If you are experiencing symptoms such as jaw pain, headaches, or bruxism, Dr. Herbert Blumenthal can examine your bite to determine the cause and develop a treatment for your TMJ disorder.

Dental Implants
Dental implants are titanium or zirconia devices that are designed to replace lost tooth roots. Implant-supported crowns, dentures, or bridges can replace any number of missing teeth. This solution makes your restorations function just like natural teeth by keeping them firmly in place at all times. For patients missing an entire arch of teeth, our Cordova, TN, dentists can provide All-on-4®, a system that can support a full denture with just four implants.
Veneers
Even if you maintain optimal oral hygiene, cosmetic concerns such as chipped or cracked teeth, intrinsic stains, and slight misalignment can leave your smile looking unhealthy. Dental veneers can conceal minor imperfections that compromise your appearance. These ultra-thin porcelain shells are custom-crafted to look natural next to surrounding teeth. Made of advanced dental ceramics, veneers are incredibly strong and can last a decade or longer with proper care.
Dental Crowns
Following treatment for decay or trauma, a crown is placed over a tooth to protect it from further damage and avoid the need for extraction. Made out of the same advanced ceramics used to craft veneers, our Cordova dentists can color match your new restoration to blend seamlessly with your smile. Like veneers, a crown can last a decade or more with proper care.
Dental Bridges
Missing one or more consecutive teeth can make speaking and eating a struggle and cause you to hide your smile. Our dentists serving Memphis and the Mid-South area can restore your ability to chew and speak properly with a custom dental bridge. By filling the gap in your smile, you can improve your oral health and prevent surrounding teeth from shifting. We can restore your smile with either a traditional or implant-supported bridge for unparalleled stability.
